I do most of my shopping online, and when I do visit a store it’s usually for a quick run-through to see if anything catches my eye. Every once in a while I’ll spot something right when I walk in, even if across the room. This was one of those pieces, and it’s easy to see why – with the bold pattern mixing of stripes and florals, fun full skirt and cool exposed zipper. It leans a little fancier than my usual style, as I like dresses to work for the office as well as after hours and this is more fitting for a different occasion. But even as a busy working mom, I have a few events peppered here and there in the summer, and this will be perfect.
