Does it count as variation when I throw in a vertical, chambray blue stripe top amidst all of my horizontal, navy blue stripe ones? Probably not, but this is one of those tops that would catch my eye every time I would pass by the store (I have an Anthropologie dangerously close to my house). I love the cut and the bold stripe pattern, and the versatility of wearing it as a tunic dress right now or over skinny jeans or black pants in the cooler months.
Anthropologie tunic (sold out, other similar options here, here and here) | Lilly Pulitzer for Target tote (sold out, love the navy on this one) | Tiffany & Co. sunglasses | Tory Burch shoes (plus check out these cute ones on sale)| Anthropologie cuff (sold out, similar here) | Michael Kors watch | Hermes bracelet
Being a lawyer I often need to dress in a fairly conservative fashion, but I always like to have an interesting pattern or a pop of color even in the most basic and classic of styles, like this shift. The conservative cut, neckline and length of this dress make it completely okay if I throw in a retro polka dot pattern and fun bright shoes!
Boden tunic (on sale!) | Rachel Zoe handbag (old, but some cute well priced ones here and here) | Boden shoes (here and flats version here – both on sale!) | Anthropologie earrings (sold out, similar here) | Michael Kors watch | Hermes bracelet | Madewell bracelet | Anthropologie sunglasses (sold out, similar here)
Although not a fan of the cooler weather creeping in here and there (our high yesterday was 65!), I do love seeing some of the fall color showing up in the late summer styles. The deep orange and vivid floral pattern of this swing dress are lovely, and the style has a fair amount of versatility with the voluminous fabric – it will be great belted and will pair well with booties as we head into the next few months.
Anthropologie dress and sunglasses (on sale!) | Chloe handbag | Michael Kors watch | C Wonder bracelet (discontinued, love this version) | Madewell bracelet (similar here and sphere style here) | Anthropologie shoes (sold out, similar gold options here and here) | Alexis Bittar earrings (old, similar here)
