Double Check

It’s been a long time since the styles at Ann Taylor LOFT have caught my eye, as evidenced by the fact that I didn’t know that it’s now simply called LOFT. But the other day I was breezing through the mall over my lunch hour and saw this combo in the window – a nice winter white, a great weight for chilly weather, and a pattern just asking to be mixed with a little something extra underneath, like this polka dot button-down shirt.

LOFT pants and skirt (also love the blouse here and the dress here) | Banana Republic shirt (sold out, similar here) | DKNY tights | Tory Burch handbag (old, similar here) | Kate Spade sunglasses (on sale) | Pellago bracelets | Michael Kors watch | UGG Australia booties

Reality Check. Friends of ours recently posted some amazing wedding photos with the backdrop of a red building. The other day I asked here where it was and found out we drove by it every day. It’s amazing the things that can be right in front of you in the daily hustle and bustle of life and go unnoticed until pointed out to you!

Love it! I bought a few dresses from loft this summer, and their sales can be great! I have 2 dresses and 2 tops coming from the regular ann taylor and I’m hoping they will work out because I am hoping to be interviewing for new positions this spring!

Yeah, with both AT and LOFT, it’s really hard to buy something NOT on sale. Even if something is new, a 30% or 40% off deal is right around the corner. Good luck with interviews – that’s exciting!
