Pineapples have definitely been an “it” print this spring, but for the most part in our house they have shown up only on clothes for the kiddos. Tory Burch had some darling options (see some included in sidebar) but I worried that the print was a little too limiting for that price point. But this top caught my eye online, and when I received it and realized it had sweatshirt kind of feel, it quickly has become a favorite (and now on sale!).

I have an Ann Taylor white eyelet dress from so many years ago that I’m not even sure of its age. I think I may have purchased it back in my days working there during law school, which mean that dress is OLD. With the eyelet look being hot again this season, I’ve worn it recently, but was also on the hunt for an updated version. I’ve found that the look can go a couple of ways that don’t work for me – too short and/or too cutesy. But I really like this version (coincidentally, again Ann Taylor), particularly the fully lined skirt. It’s summer casual but still polished enough to wear to the office.

Right around this time in the summer, after a few days in my office where the temperature hovers around 75 degrees or so, I realize that long sleeves are not an option. My closet tends to be heavy on dresses and more casual short sleeve shirts, so I’ve had my eye out for some summer shirts appropriate for the workday. I’m a sucker for polka dots, and love how this shirt looks good by itself or under a jacket if I need to dress it up a bit more.
