A good hat is a great thing. I bought this hat because I’m a sucker for anything navy and yellow, but I’ve been surprised by how much use I’ve gotten out of it. I suppose it helps that I’m on a bit of a winter break, using up the remainder of my vacation time at the office. My days these last couple of weeks of the year are generally filled with running about town for errands, followed up by some quality time with friends and dates nights when possible. I don’t want to waste any of that productive and/or fun time dealing with my hair.

I bought this hat purely for what I thought would be a one-time wear (and likely connected to a post). Quite the opposite has happened, as I’ve been sporting it, and pretty much the full outfit, quite a bit the last couple of weeks. I get a bit lazy when it comes to thinking of new outfit combinations and when something works (and is still on the armchair from the night before) I tend to repeat the look.

Love the hat and scarf! I (and really the whole look). I love good hats like that. I’m going through my scarf collection right and trying to decide what I actually should be keeping, and what needs to be donated.

But they take up such little room, I find them tough to part with unless I truly never wear them (and I’ve definitely had some of those “what was I thinking?!” purchasing moments).
